Every fall I try to make it down to Ft Snelling State Park in order photograph the wild sunflowers. This year I was fortunate to be able to capture a few images of butterflies and other insects, as well.
It is that time of year when the milkweed is tall, and the caterpillars are active. I came across two types – the Milkweed Tussock Moth Caterpillar and the Monarch Caterpillar. Here are images captured today at Ft Snelling.
