The weather was sunny today but there was a cold wind. I caught a glimpse of one of the young in the nest. When it got too cold, mom pushed it under her to keep it protected. The pictures here show dad very agitated and ready to break up the crows that have gathered near the nest. The first image shows him as he is about to take off. The second photo is the dad after he cleared the crows off, still vigilant.
