Shakespeare lives near the Minnehaha Falls in south Minneapolis. He or she (nobody really knows) is known by many who use the off-leash dog park. The owl sits in its tree, watching the world go by, usually from late October through early spring. The owl got its name by accident. Somebody asked “What kind of owl is it?” The person heard “bard” and thought of the best known bard in history, Shakespeare! The name stuck.
